This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Dingford Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Pratt Lake Trail. Commonwealth Campground is a glorious local campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Snoqualmie. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling       is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snoqualmie River - South Fork, and don't leave Cottonwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Alpental if you're here; a lake nearby is Twilight Lake. Be careful coming to Cottonwood Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Crystal Springs Campground is a delightful campground nearby; dry warm beds await                  you at Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit. Cottonwood Lake typically gets a good deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Near Cottonwood Lake you hit upon great spots like Yakima Pass, and if you get bored of Cottonwood Lake you could also stop by close by Mirror Lake. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable! Olallie Meadow is right here at Cottonwood Lake; there are glorious sites to look at along the Annette Lake Trail. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Cottonwood Lake get into the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's.
