Around Cornwell Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls through December; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Chewuch River, and at Cornwell Lake you can distinguish Amphitheater Mountain. The North Fork Twentymile Trail is a magnificent hiking trail next to Cornwell Lake, and if you came to camp Camp Four Campground is a good place to                  do that. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Cornwell Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Cornwell Lake. Near Cornwell Lake you find the North Twentymile Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lakes are wonderful; Airview Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Cornwell Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a good time. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Cornwell Lake called the Windy Trail.
