Cora Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Cora Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a good time. Go for a hike on the Big Creek Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Silver Creek.
And if that's

not sufficient, there's loads more to do close to Cora Lake. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Buckley is a great choice, and if you get bored of Cora Lake you could also visit nearby Greenwood Lake. Cora Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. No need to travel far to explore out of the ordinary stuff like High Rock; don't leave Cora Lake without
first going for a hike along the Silver Creek Trail.
You might want to pay a visit to Cougar Gap if you're here at Cora Lake, and some nearby water includes Mesatchee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Cora Lake is not the only location nearby, Granite Lake is a nearby lake, and there's tremendous hiking along the Osborne Mountain Trail. If you came to camp High Rock Campground is a fine location to do that, and if you're looking for a good trip, Mount Rainier National Park is reasonably near.
All through the summer months highs here at Cora Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cora Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Skate Creek, and camping at Mounthaven Resort is always a fine experience.

Lake Christine
July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
