     Copper Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. All through the summer here at Copper Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Copper Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Paddling on Baker River is so much fun, and if you've had enough  
   of Copper Lake, Hanging Lake is nearby.
Take a side journey to Brush Creek, and Hannegan Campground is a great local campground. You can make out Copper Mountain from Copper Lake, and Bacon Creek Campground is a splendid campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Copper Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Ruth Creek in a kayak, obviously
 
               you could also take a look at Egg Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a glorious site to get some rest.
