Throughout the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Copper Lake, and the night is a tad colder of course, generally in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Copper Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillaguamish River - South Fork; a lake close by is Boulder Lake. You just must go for the Northern Cascade Range.
Whitewater paddling is fine on Clear Creek; from Copper Lake you acquire a glorious panorama of Big Four Mountain.
That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Copper Lake has it all. A day on the slopes of Stephens Pass is just what you need. Coal Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if you came for an overnight stay Deer Creek Campground is a wonderful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Perry Creek Campground

if you're here at Copper Lake, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Lost Creek Ridge Trail.
The high level of rain makes Copper Lake a reasonably wet place; November is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast!
For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!
So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit.
Just around the corner...
