If you are traveling by, why not stop by Copper Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Skyriver Inn, and don't leave Copper Lake without first going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at West Fork Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Big Heart Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting

| | things truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Alpental; get yourself into a kayak and hit Foss River. Much precipitation falls at Copper Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A fine spot to camp here at Copper Lake is Foss River Campground, and glide down the rapids of Miller River - East Fork in a kayak. | |

Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Copper Lake. You get a good vista of Malachite Peak from Copper Lake, and there's great hiking along the Escondido Trail. Copper Lake is one of the lakes
here in the Northern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Copper Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's with winter
lows in the 30's overnight here at Copper Lake. Don't leave Copper Lake without first paying a visit to Malachite Falls; after a long day outdoors Cascadia Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. The skiing at Stephens
Pass is splendid, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Copper Lake; Cooper Pass Trail is a nice local trail.
