    In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Coplay Lake is one of them. You could also explore Summit Lake if you're here at Coplay Lake; it's nearby. A large amount of rainfall falls at Coplay Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Coplay Lake; Ipsut Creek Trail is a nice local trail, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge  
   Buckley is a good place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Bearhead Mountain is easy to spot from Coplay Lake, and Kings Valu Inn is a great site to get some rest. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Chenuis Creek flows through this vicinity, and paddling on White River is so much fun. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Coplay Lake.
 
               Don't leave Coplay Lake without first going for a hike along the Summit Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Clearwater River - White River Tributary.
Good hiking is available along the Clearwater Trail. There's so much to do here at Coplay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ipsut Creek Campground is a good place for that. Coplay Lake is not the only location nearby, East Lake is a nearby lake; a short journey to Chenuis Falls is always worthwhile. And if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and if you came to camp Cougar Rock Campground is a fine spot to do that.
For the period of the summer months here at Coplay Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Coplay Lake tend to be in the 30's. Coplay Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
