The warmest time of the year at Cooks Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; through the dark       hours in the winter at Cooks Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. Cooks Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the snow falls throughout December, and the driest month is July. Deer Springs is an inspiring place to pop by while here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cooks Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Skookum Lake Campground. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Cooks Lake. Drift                  down the rapids of Priest River in a kayak, and a charming lake like South Skookum Lake is a wonderful place to check out. Cooks Lake is right by the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Hanna Flast Nature Trail offers hiking at its best.
