The top of Cooks Mountain is easily seen from Cooks Lake, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Mt. Spokane. Some close by water includes Little Skookum Creek, and lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Mystic Lake. The warmest time of the year at Cooks Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Flast Nature Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Cooks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Skookum Campground is a pleasant place for that.
