    It's always fun to stop by Connor Lake. This place, Connor Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. There are other locations here than Connor Lake, for example Lake Stevens; if you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary offers some pleasant whitewater. Connor Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. People from Mount  
   Vernon-Anacortes love to come to Connor Lake, and if you need a site to stay GuestHouse Inn & Suites M is a delightful choice.
Through the summertime months highs here at Connor Lake get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Connor Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. A perfect place to camp here at Connor Lake is Lake
 
               Connor Park; why not a little side spree to Catherine Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Snohomish RV and Mobile Home Park while you're here at Connor Lake; Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a good place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. For you golfers we recommend close by Snohomish Public Golf Club. Lakes? Sure, Woodland Farm Reservoir is close at hand. Connor Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
Drift down the rapids of Stillaguamish River - South Fork in a kayak, and why not take a look at Woodland Farm Reservoir Dam since you're here.

Lake Beecher is surrounded on 3 sides by a wildlife reserve and a wooded flood plain. Several families of Beavers and Otters make their homes along the sides of the lake. Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake. In the early morning & evening in the summertime, hot air balloons drift along the edge of the lake just above the treeline between the lake and the Snohomish River....

WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot....

This was a beautiful hike, coming out on a lake that was pristine and gorgeous. The only problem is, the hike is really long, steep, up hill, and was exhausting for me. I would consider this an upper intermediate hike....

I recently stayed overnight at Lake Pleasant RV park.? It was truly pleasant - quiet, nice to look at, clean.? The managers were very nice - they came by and told me I'd overpaid by? 90 cents.?? I will stay there again when in the area.? Cheers....
