Conklin Lake is a good place of common rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; the driest month is July. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Priest River, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Horseshoe Lake is one of those nearby. During the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Conklin Lake.
