This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Mount Defiance Trail, and if you're here at Coney Lake it's a fine idea to go to Goat Basin. If you came to camp Commonwealth Campground is a splendid site to do that, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Stephens Pass. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Pratt Lake Trail; lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Lake Kanim.

| | Goat Creek is a great local stream. There's so much to do here at Coney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a brilliant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Salish Lodge And Spa is a nice site to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Money Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Coney Lake. Go for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail; you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing | |

at Alpental. Summertime highs at Coney Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's; the night is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows at Coney
Lake throughout the winter frequently sink into the 30's. So many exciting things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a splendid choice,
and Miller River - West Fo is a great whitewater spot close by. Here at Coney Lake you can spot Lennox Mountain, and there are other places here than Coney Lake, for example Crystal Lake. Coney Lake is a wet spot that gets a good
deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Coney Lake. Coney Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.

Honey Lake
 | The lake no longer has any trails to it. All trails are gone from nature reclaiming it. The only way into lake is through quartz creek road(no vehicles)2.5 miles. From there it is a bushwack up to the ridge(2000 ft). From the ridge you can see honey lake. 1000 feet down. The bush is thick in that area (45 degree angle going up and down(or it seem that steep). 15 years ago some guys fished out the lake in one day. Before tha the fish were between 18 to 24 inches rainbow. If you can make it you deserve the good fishing. Haven't fished there in 20 years it may not have any fish in it or it has big fish (I dont know never made it close enough recently to fish). Good luck.

Stephens Pass
 | 11 miles away 1 PHOTO Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out... |
Snoqualmie
 | 11 miles away 3 PHOTOS From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast! For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do! So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit. Just around the corner... ...A MILLION MILES AWAY!... |
Bonnie Lake
 | 14 miles away Bonney lake Is not trained. It is drained in the winter, who ever runs the dam doesn't man it in winter so they let it drain. Pacific Crest Trail - section 25
 | 19 miles away Roundtrip Distance 17.4 miles Elevation Gain 2,574 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map.... |
