Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. On a magnificent day at Coney Lake you can take a hike along the County Line Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. There is a good hiking trail next to Coney Lake called the Snow Lakes Trail, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Shield Lake is one of those close by. What a place this is for       outdoors folks. Going for a hike on the Icicle Trail is always a good adventure, and why not camp at Eightmile Campground since you're here at Coney Lake. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Coney Lake lays in the shadow of the Enchantment Peaks; get covered with water paddling on Icicle Creek. Coney Lake really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Icicle Creek, and a wonderful                  place to camp here at Coney Lake is Bridge Creek Campground. Coney Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July. Coney Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Gnome Tarn is a lake that's close to Coney Lake, and Best Western Icicle Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Coney Lake it's a nice idea to stop at Enchantment Basin, and Cannon Mountain is delightful and can be seen from here. Mountaineer Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and a splendid site is Enchantment Pass. High temperatures at Coney Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's.
