    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Cold Lake. All the outdoors exciting things close to Cold Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. There is a glorious hiking trail in the vicinity of Cold Lake called the Annette Lake Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpental. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cold Lake a wet site; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest  
   of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a great adventure, and Cold Lake is a great place to camp, Crystal Springs Campground is a great place.
Humpback Creek is a wonderful location to stop by, and Hemlock Pass is another great spot to pop by nearby. Keekwulee Falls is a beautiful place to pop by while you're at Cold Lake, and don't leave Cold Lake without first checking out The Tooth. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. Cad Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; the Pratt Lake Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by.
Having a great time at Cold Lake is simple. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn is a good choice. There are some good whitewater spots on Snoqualmie River - South Fork; Commonwealth Campground is a wonderful campground here. Cold Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Having a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Cold Lake is Bryant Peak, and why not head up to Snoqualmie and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime at Cold Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Cold Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and Cascadia Inn is a good site to get some rest.
