Wagner Lake is in close proximity, and Pilchuck River is a great whitewater spot close by. If you're here at Lake Cochran, you could stop by Roesiger Creek, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skykomish River. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the vicinity of Lake       Cochran has to offer. Playing golf is lots of fun at Blue Boy West Golf Course, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Connor Park is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park while you're here at Lake Cochran; if you need a site to stay Best Western Sky Valley Inn is a nice choice. Lake Cochran gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest of the months is July. Summer                  brings highs in the 70's to Lake Cochran, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Cochran. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just extraordinary.
