A visit to Cleveland Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Foss River Campground is a splendid place to camp, and since you're here, you could also take a look at stunning Tumwater Lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Middle Fork Trail,

| | and getting to Coney Creek from Cleveland Lake is uncomplicated. Take a hike on the Pratt Lake Trail; do check out Francis Lake, it's a lovely lake. At Cleveland Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cleveland Lake plunge into the 30's. can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Alpental. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at West Fork Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Miller River - West Fo offers
some fine whitewater. Cleveland Lake gets much water; all through December this area sees the most rain while July is generally the driest month. So many entertaining things to do at Cleveland Lake, so little time. Skiing at Stephens
Pass is one of those things you just must do, and a good close by hotel is Salish Lodge And Spa. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Annette Lake Trail is tremendous fun; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Money Creek.

Stephens Pass
 | 1 PHOTO Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out... |
Boulder Lake
 | Its one hard hike but when you get to the top you forget about everything its a breath taking site. Well worth the work out... |
Honey Lake
 | 11 miles away The lake no longer has any trails to it. All trails are gone from nature reclaiming it. The only way into lake is through quartz creek road(no vehicles)2.5 miles. From there it is a bushwack up to the ridge(2000 ft). From the ridge you can see honey lake. 1000 feet down. The bush is thick in that area (45 degree angle going up and down(or it seem that steep). 15 years ago some guys fished out the lake in one day. Before tha the fish were between 18 to 24 inches rainbow. If you can make it you deserve the good fishing. Haven't fished there in 20 years it may not have any fish in it or it has big fish (I dont know never made it close enough recently to fish). Good luck.
