Go to Clear Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. All through the warm months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Clear Lake; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Clear Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. Campground is a magnificent site for that, and the Gee Point Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. You can run the rapids of Stillaguamish River - South Fork near Clear Lake, and Granite Pass is a glorious place to spend some time.
Clear Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. Canyon Lake is a wonderful lake in the vicinity of Clear Lake, and if the weather is great, you
can go for a hike along the Finney Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Copper Creek flows through this area, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe.

 | 29 miles away 1 PHOTO Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out... |
