Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Shelton; there are other places here than Clear Lake, for example Woelfel Lake. Clear Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. There's whitewater on Skokomish River - South Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and Potlatch State Park Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene       sites, why not pop by Kent Lake in close proximity to Clear Lake, and lots of folks from Shelton come here. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Olympic Mountains. You can run the rapids of Vance Creek near Clear Lake; why not camp at Pines Trailer and Recreational while you're here at Clear Lake. During the summer at Clear Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime                  brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Clear Lake are in the 30's. Clear Lake commonly gets a lot of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
