Clear Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There are great locations to discover along the Soleduck Trail; if you need a site to stay Lake Quinault Lodge is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Seven Lakes Creek is a great spot to go to, and if you've had enough of Clear Lake, Sol Duc Lake is close by. That right there is a load of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Olympic

| | Mountains has it all. Seven Lakes Basin is a lovely place any time of year, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lyre River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Soleduck Campground, and after a long day outdoors Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. The panorama of pretty Bogachiel Peak near Clear Lake is perfect, and Clear Lake is not the only place close by, Lunch Lake is a close by lake. Life's too short | |

to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Clear Lake. Good hiking is available along the Hoh River Trail. Go for a hike on the Deer Lake Trail, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Port Angeles here. The skiing at Hurricane
Ridge Ski Lodge is nice, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Soleduck River - North Fork. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. You'll need more than a day to look
at everything Clear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Log Cabin Resort and Trailer; Olympic National Park is a great local destination. Clear Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Throughout the days of summer, highs generally
are in the 70's at Clear Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Clear Lake. Clear Lake is a wet spot that
gets a great deal of rainfall; all through November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July.

My daughter and grandchildren have been here and they love it also. It is a great rustic family place. We relax listening to the ebbing tides at night, collect rocks and shells, roast marshmallows for smores and just have fun. Last time we fount a great fishing hole and handicap assessable and it had fire rings bathrooms tables camping sites right down the road. From WCB.
