Clark Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Clark Lake is typically a relatively waterless place; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sherman Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Kettle Falls Inn. | | place to camp, Cloverleaf Beach Campground is a good place. A spree to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is worthwhile. After a long day outdoors White Willow Motel & Camp is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; Gifford Campground is a magnificent campground here. Through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Clark Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Clark Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
