This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Hiking along the Chopaka Mountain Trail is magnificent fun; Stage Stop At Sully's is a nice campground nearby. Chopaka Lake gets very little rainfall; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more to do near Chopaka Lake. At Chopaka Lake during the       long summer days highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Chopaka Lake. You're most likely hooked on lakes, The Salt Lakes is one of those close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Coxit Creek Trail.
