Chitwood Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Pilchuck River near Chitwood Lake; a great spot to camp here at Chitwood Lake is Verlot Campground. After a long day outdoors Dutch Cup Motel       is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and nearby you locate the Gee Point Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Chitwood Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Monroe Motel, and Chitwood Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Turlo Campground is a pleasant local campground. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Chitwood Lake. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have                  a look at Bowers Lake right next door to Chitwood Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Chitwood Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Chitwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
