    Many people like to go to Chenuis Lakes. That right there is a heap of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Going for a hike on the Clearwater Trail is always a delightful adventure; getting to Cataract Creek from Chenuis Lakes is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of White River, and since you're here, you might as well explore Hurricane Gap. This lake is so wonderful.  
   Looking for a splendid trip? Mount Rainier National Park is relatively close to Chenuis Lakes, and Chenuis Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Cougar Rock Campground is a fine local campground.
High temperatures at Chenuis Lakes during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Chenuis Lakes.
 
               There is a good hiking trail right next door to Chenuis Lakes called the Northern Loop Trail; don't leave Chenuis Lakes without first paying a visit to Alice Falls. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Cascade Range.
This place, Chenuis Lakes, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you came to camp Ipsut Creek Campground is a tremendous spot to do that, and at Chenuis Lakes you can see Chenuis Mountain. A day on the slopes of Crystal Mountain is just what you need, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Carbon Glacier is right here. Dry warm beds await you at King's Valu Inn, and Bee Flat is right here at Chenuis Lakes.
Chenuis Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Alexander's Country Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Lakes are good; Crescent Lake is a lake that's close to Chenuis Lakes. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Chenuis Lakes. On a perfect day at Chenuis Lakes you can take a hike along the Carbon Trail, and there's whitewater on Clearwater River - White River Tributary for all you thrill seekers.
Chenuis Lakes gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
