Ipsut Creek Campground is a nice campground nearby, and Oliver Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. For the period of the summer here at Chenuis Lakes, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's; night lows throughout the winter for Chenuis Lakes tend to be in the 30's. | | at its best, and a nice place close by is Hurricane Gap. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn; why not take a refreshing hike along the Northern Loop Trail. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. A day on the slopes of Crystal Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Clearwater River - White River Tributary, and needless to say Cataract Creek is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at. There's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline kick people; do take a hike on the Clearwater
Trail. Be careful coming to Chenuis Lakes, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet It's always great to stop at Alice Falls. But wait, there's
more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Buckley is a great location to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Crescent Lake is close by. If you want a pleasant time in the great
outdoors, just come on down to Chenuis Lakes. Chenuis Mountain is stunning and can be distinguished from Chenuis Lakes, and you can stay the night at Cougar Rock Campground. A trip to Bee Flat invigorates the soul, and if you're keen
on cool geologic marks try Carbon Glacier. Chenuis Lakes gets lots of water; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest. Chenuis Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.

I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving.... |
