Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Charles is not the only site close by, Lake Brigham is a close by lake, and the Lake Michael Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Nason River is a great whitewater spot close to Lake Charles, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Icicle Trail. During the warm months, highs       commonly are in the 60's at Lake Charles, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Charles temperatures drop to the 10's. Lake Charles is a rather wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. If you're here, you might as well explore Deadhorse Pass, and if you came for an overnight stay Rock Island Campground is a great site to camp. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Icicle Creek; Black Pine Campground is a magnificent local campground. You could also stop by Upper Grace Lake while you're here at Lake Charles; it's nearby, and on a great day you can take a hike along the County Line Trail.
