     The yearly precipitation here at Chamberlain Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is July. Chamberlain Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Cascade Range. The Bottle Prairie Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake close by is McClure Lake.

   lake is so wonderful. If you crave a little side tour, try Rowena Dell, and there are plenty of folks from City of The Dalles here at Chamberlain Lake. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. You ought to pop by Salisbury Slough when you're here at Chamberlain Lake; there's great hiking along the Cedar Creek Trail. For the period of the summer months at Chamberlain Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours  
               of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Chamberlain Lake.
McCall Point is a peak you can see from Chamberlain Lake; whitewater paddling is fine on Klickitat River. Rowena Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; Rowena Crest is an out of the ordinary place to pop by while at Chamberlain Lake. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - The Dalles OR; if you get bored of Chamberlain Lake you could also visit nearby Balch Lake.

A splendid place to camp here at Chamberlain Lake is Columbia River Gorge Camping, and don't leave Chamberlain Lake without first going for a hike along the Fifteenmile Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things close to Chamberlain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Chamberlain Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Memaloose State Park is a great local campground, and if you need a place to stay Cousins Country Inn is a good choice.
