It's always fun to stop by Chamberlain Lake. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. After a long day outdoors The Dalles Super 8 Motel is a fine location to spend a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Balch Lake. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. You are close to Salisbury Slough since you're here at Chamberlain

along the Fifteenmile Creek Trail is delightful fun; don't leave Chamberlain Lake without first checking out Rowena Crest. There are plenty of people from City of The Dalles here at Chamberlain Lake, and if you're here you can take
a hike along the Bottle Prairie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is lovely, you obtain a glorious view of McCall Point from Chamberlain Lake, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Cedar Creek Trail.
And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a side journey to Rowena Creek, and you can stay the night at Memaloose State Park. There's so much to do here at Chamberlain Lake
that you need to camp here for a while, Columbia River Gorge Camping is a tremendous location for that; not far from Chamberlain Lake you'll hit upon McClure Lake which is a beautiful lake.
