Federal Way Super 8 Motel is a glorious location to get some rest; Puyallup Valley is in close proximity, and is a delightful place. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lake Chalet highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Lake Chalet tend to be in the 30's. Lake Chalet is a good location       of typical rain; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. A quick trip to Simons Creek near Lake Chalet is a great idea, and Lake Chalet is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, River Road RV is a splendid local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Federal Way, and you're sure to encounter some fine folks from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here. There                  are some perfect whitewater spots on Puyallup River. This lake is so wonderful. Firwood Pit Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and right next door to Lake Chalet you find a golf course called Lake Tapps Island Golf Course.
