But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary offers some nice whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sky Valley Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two. At Chain Lakes all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools       down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Chain Lakes are in the 30's. Cub Creek flows through this region, and hiking along the Gee Point Trail is nice fun. Chain Lakes gets a good deal of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range.                  Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Finney Peak Trail. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Turlo Campground; Quality Inn Arlington is a nice site to get some rest. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Chain Lakes will keep you coming back many times. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stillaguamish River - South Fork, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by La Barge Lake.
