If you are traveling by, why not stop by Cedar Lake. Lodgepole Campground is a splendid campground nearby; everybody close by loves skiing at White Pass. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. But wait, there's more to do close to Cedar Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Chinook Creek, and going for a hike along the Bumping Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.

| | brilliant local ski area, and get yourself into a kayak and hit American River. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes are delightful; Lily Lake is a lake that's near Cedar Lake, and do take a hike on the Swamp Lake Trail. High temperatures at Cedar Lake throughout the summertime are in the 70's. This lake is so wonderful. Morse Creek Campground is a splendid local campground, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Dewey Lake Trail. All the water falling
down from the sky makes Cedar Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Kincaid Lake.
