If you need a location to stay Circle Motel is a pleasant choice; camping at Cedar Lake is nice fun, Mt. Linton RV and Trailer Park is a nice local campground. Iroquois Creek is right next door to Cedar Lake and is always a diversion to take a look at, and places like Hungate Clearing are splendid to have a look at. At Cedar Lake you don’t see much rain; the month       with most of the snow is December, and September is when it's the driest. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Cedar Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while Cedar Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sullivan River, and the peak of Red Top Mountain can be observed from Cedar Lake.
