     Cedar Lake commonly gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Lyle Lake, and there are some fine whitewater spots on White River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Do set aside some time for Celery
 
   Meadow if you're here at Cedar Lake, and there's nice hiking along the Summit Lake Trail. This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. The Carbon Trail offers hiking at its best, and needless to say, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Coundly Lake is a lake nearby. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Kings Valu Inn is a magnificent choice;  
               camping at Green River Gorge Resort is always a good experience.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - White River Tributary, and Cedar Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Ipsut Creek Campground is a nice local campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Cedar Lake, so little time. The top of Pitcher Mountain is easily spotted from Cedar Lake, and Econo Lodge Buckley is a delightful location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cedar Lake; Clearwater Trail is a delightful local trail, and Mount Rainier National Park is a pleasant national park. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cedar Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Cedar Lake.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
