If you are traveling by, why not stop by Cedar Lake. Through the warmest time of the year here at Cedar Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cedar Lake. Camping at Dosewallips Campground is always a nice experience. This place, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things.

| | If you need a place to stay Port Angeles Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and Cedar Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Cedar Lake. If time allows, Olympic National Park is a national park worth visiting, and you can run the rapids of Dosewallips River. and Shelter Peak is clearly visible from Cedar Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Royal Creek Trail is always a good adventure; if you feel like a little side trip, try Gray Wolf Pass. Get your heart pumping
on the perfect whitewater of Gray Wolf River, and it's a great idea to take a look at Butler Creek. Cedar Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Olympic Lodge; Hurricane Ridge Ski
Lodge has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. So many entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. Near Cedar Lake you find the Baldy Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and this is a popular
place for people from Shelton. Lots of precipitation falls at Cedar Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
