    Why not stop by Lake Cavanaugh if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Lake Cavanaugh called the Gee Point Trail, and Lake Cavanaugh is a magnificent place to camp, Skagit River woods is a magnificent place. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Cavanaugh. Near Lake Cavanaugh you hit upon the Finney Peak Trail which is a great hiking trail; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Arlington.  
   High temperatures at Lake Cavanaugh during the summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Cavanaugh.
Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deer Creek. Lake Cavanaugh gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is
 
               November, and July on the other hand is the driest. The panorama of scenic Frailey Mountain near Lake Cavanaugh is pleasant; Pilchuck Bridge Campground is a wonderful campground here.
Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a great time. After a long day outdoors Adeline Inn On The River is a glorious place to spend a night or two; a visit to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is worthwhile. If you come at the right time of year, Pilchuck Creek offers some splendid whitewater; you'll most likely meet some people from Mount Vernon-Anacortes here. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
