If you came for an overnight stay Skagit River woods is a great place to camp; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Arlington is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Lake Cavanaugh has it all. If time allows, Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting, and if you come at the right time of year, Deer Creek offers some good whitewater. | | Cascade Range is excellent! Don't leave Lake Cavanaugh without first going for a hike along the Gee Point Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Pilchuck Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Why not camp at Pilchuck Bridge Campground since you're here at Lake Cavanaugh, naturally you could also have a look at Little Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. at Lake Cavanaugh get into the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Cavanaugh. This lake is so wonderful. There's
pleasant hiking along the Finney Peak Trail. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Frailey Ponds is near Lake Cavanaugh; if you need a spot
to stay Medallion Hotel is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. The great folks of Mount Vernon-Anacortes like to hang out nearby, and here at Lake Cavanaugh you can see Frailey Mountain. Lake Cavanaugh is a quite wet
place typically with much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
