A great location to camp here at Cattail Lake is Carrington Mobile Home and RV Park, and if you need a location to stay Silverdale Beach Hotel is a good choice. Cattail Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Erland Point Mobile Home Park is a great local campground; whitewater paddling is good on Big Quilcene River. Why not check out Cattail Lake Dam since you're here, and dry       warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Poulsbo, Wa. Cattail Lake typically gets a great deal of rain; all through December this area sees the most rain while July is generally the driest month. Summertime highs at Cattail Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's; the nighttime is quite colder of course, usually in the 50's.
