    Do stop by Cathedral Lakes while you're in this part of Washington. Cathedral Lakes is located in the Northern Cascade Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Andrews Creek Campground is a magnificent site to camp; do go to Lower Cathedral Lake, it's a lovely lake.
Summertime at Cathedral Lakes comes with high temperatures
 
   in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Cathedral Lakes dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Cathedral Lakes. You get a splendid view of Amphitheater Mountain from Cathedral Lakes; going for a hike on the Windy Trail is always a great adventure. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place!  
               The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable! Camp Four Campground is a perfect campground here, and Chewuch River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Cathedral Lakes is a location that is pretty waterless regularly; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Near Cathedral Lakes you find the North Fork Twentymile Trail which is a great hiking trail, and while you're here why not stop by Cathedral Pass. A nice close by hotel is Mazama Country Inn, and there are great locations to discover along the Boundary Trail.
