A visit to Cat Lake is always a good idea. Going for a hike on the Mount Zion Trail is always a glorious adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Sequim. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Cat Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Diamond Point RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and a lovely lake like Lake Lucinda is a great site to explore. There's

| | just no way anyone can get bored here at Cat Lake. There are great locations to look at along the Deadfall Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out The Lagoon. At Cat Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Summer at Cat Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in | |

the 40's while Cat Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. Camping at William and Lorraine Sulzbach is always a tremendous experience;
after a long day outdoors Holiday Plaza Sequim Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dungeness River, and Rocky Point is not far at all. Not enough hours in a
day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Near Cat Lake you find the Bear Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Dungeness River.
