If you are in Okanogan county it's always a good idea to stop by Castor Lake. Through the warm months at Castor Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Castor Lake dip into the 10's. Hiking along the Coxit Creek Trail is glorious fun, and not far from Castor Lake you'll hit

| | upon Alkali Lake which is a pretty lake. Take a hike on the Funk Mountain Trail; after a long day outdoors Motel Nicholas is a wonderful site to spend a night or two.
All the outdoors cool stuff next to Castor Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Castor Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Carl Precht Memorial RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and Rodeway Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Castor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Margie's RV Park is a splendid location for that; everyone nearby loves skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl. Castor Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern
Cascade Range.
So much amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-blowing. Castor Lake is right by the Sarsapkin Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range. While staying
at Castor Lake you could always discover Wagonroad Coulee, and swing by Pine Creek it's a perfect site to pop by. Not much rainfall falls here at Castor Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
