    A visit to Caskey Lake is always a good idea. Throughout the summer months at Caskey Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Caskey Lake throughout the winter ordinarily drop into the 30's. Caskey Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through November, and July is when  
   it's the driest. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Caskey Lake. Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a good place to get some rest.
The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. There's nice hiking along the Gee Point Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Clark's Skagit River Resort is a good place to camp. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes are magnificent;
 
               Texas Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Caskey Lake, and why not take a little spree to Flume Creek if you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Finney Peak Trail, and Wilderness Village is a delightful campground nearby. Sauk River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Texas Pond Dam.
