This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Texas Pond Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and going for a hike on the Finney Peak Trail is always a perfect adventure. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a splendid place to spend a night or two; why not camp at Wilderness Village since you're here at Caskey Lake. Yeah, come here to Caskey Lake for a perfect time.       There's whitewater on Sauk River for all you thrill seekers; there's some flowing water nearby, Flume Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Hilt Lake near Caskey Lake; you can go for a hike on the Gee Point Trail. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-boggling. A pretty lake like Texas Pond in the neighborhood of Caskey Lake is a good place                  to explore, and camping is available at Clark's Skagit River Resort. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. All through the months of summer at Caskey Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Caskey Lake are in the 30's.
