Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Lancaster Lake near Carty Lake, and going for a hike on the Georges Peak Trail is always a brilliant adventure. For the period of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Carty Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the       wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Carty Lake dip into the 30's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Carty Lake. Swamps like Bachelor Island Slough are fun to have a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Woodland Inn And Suites. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Tri-Mountain Golf Course is around here, and why not camp at Sauvie                  Cove Store and RV Park if you're here at Carty Lake. On a pretty day you can stop by Lyons Beach right next door to Carty Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kalama River. This lake is so wonderful. A great site like Hathaway Lake here at Carty Lake is too nice to miss; a stunning lake like Quigley Lake is a brilliant site to stop at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Carty Lake a wet location; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
