After a long day outdoors Biltmore Hotel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of McCall Woods. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Carter Lake. If you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Meadow Park Golf Course; Kinsey Marsh is an attention-grabbing swamp right next door to Carter Lake. If you're here at Carter       Lake, you could pop by Clover Creek, and Carter Lake is a good location to camp, Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV is a good location. A great nearby hotel is Fort Clarke Motel, and McCall Hill is clearly visible from Carter Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Emerson Lake is a fine lake in the vicinity of Carter Lake; the Porter Hills is a major mark of the area nearby. Carter Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally                  December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Carter Lake you'll meet some people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue for sure. Summertime highs at Carter Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's while Carter Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's.
