Carson Lake is always a pleasure to visit. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Carson Lake has it all. Near Carson Lake you find the Mount Jupiter Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Alderbrook Resort And Spa. Carson Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. A great location to camp here at Carson Lake is Robin Hood Cottages, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a good choice.

| | come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a good time. A lake close by is Lily Pond, and Sisters Points is very near and is a glorious spot to take a look at. During the summertime highs here at Carson Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Camping is available at Summertide Resort, and you can run the rapids of Hamma Hamma River. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. People from Shelton
love to come to Carson Lake, and getting to Tahuya River from Carson Lake is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to a swamp like The Narrows while you're here at Carson Lake; a great spot for whitewater paddling is
Jefferson Creek.
Carson Lake gets lots of water; December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July.
