Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Klickitat River, and Ponderosa Motel is a fine location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Canyon Creek - Klickitat drainage for all you adrenaline rush seekers. There's so much to do here at Carp Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset       RV Park is a great location for that. So much cool stuff to do here at Carp Lake, too glorious to be true. For the period of the summertime highs here at Carp Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Carp Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Carp Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. The amount of rainfall that falls at Carp Lake is                  close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Cottonwood RV Park, and Jackknife Butte is pretty and can be observed from here.
