This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Stillaguamish River - South Fork is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a great place to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Carlson Pond all through the warm months are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly       in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Carlson Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's some flowing water close by, Coon Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay, and Sweet Dam is not far at all from Carlson Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at GuestHouse Inn & Suites M; whitewater paddling is                  great on Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Snohomish RV and Mobile Home Park is always a fine experience, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes, Bosworth Lake is a lake in close proximity. Carlson Pond usually gets a good deal of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
