Capitol Lake is a nice lake to visit. Here at Capitol Lake you'll almost certainly meet some people from Olympia, and let's not forget Deschutes River which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. Capitol Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. All year is a tremendous time in the Olympic Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Camping at Allimor Carriage Estates is always a brilliant experience, and a great nearby hotel is Clarion Hotel

This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Deschutes River in close proximity to Capitol Lake. So many enjoyable things near Capitol Lake, truly amazing. A journey to Capitol Point next to Capitol Lake is always a good idea, and after a long day outdoors Red Lion Hotel Olympia is a great location to spend a night or two. Capitol Lake is not the only site nearby, Hazard Lake is a nearby lake, and a delightful spot to camp here at Capitol Lake | |

Capitol Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Olympic
Mountains. If you're here at Capitol Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course, also Deschutes Dam is worth going to while you're here. Summer at Capitol Lake arrives with high temperatures
in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; overnight lows at Capitol Lake during the winter typically drop into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored
of Capitol Lake, you could also explore nearby Barnes Lake, and Countryside Beach is a beach close by that you can stop by.
