    Canyon Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Canyon Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is nice on Nooksack River - North Fork, and Nooksack Diversion Dam is a pretty site.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Canyon Lake. When the night
 
   sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Canyon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Damfino Lakes is a splendid lake in close proximity to Canyon Lake; there's some flowing water close by, Wells Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here. You truly have to like Canyon Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Nooksack Falls; one of the main traits of the surroundings  
               of Canyon Lake is Cowap Peak.
After a long day outdoors Cascade Mountain Lodge is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Shuksan Campground. You just ought to go for the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a delightful choice, and camping at Nooksack Campground is always a great experience. Canyon Lake is near Excelsior Pass which is without doubt worth checking out, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a fine local destination.
The high level of precipitation makes Canyon Lake a reasonably wet site; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
