But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Jorgensen Lake is near Canyon Lake; hey, Toboggan Creek is a tremendous local stream. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Canyon Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Canyon Lake through the winter frequently dip into the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Snowline

| | Condos; there are some great whitewater spots on Nooksack River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a magnificent location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Canyon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Riverview Park is a magnificent place for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. If you're going to Canyon Lake from Mount Vernon-Anacortes, you won't be the only one. | |
