A visit to Canyon Lake is always a good idea. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Red Bridge Campground is a perfect campground here, and there are some good whitewater spots on Stillaguamish River - South Fork. Canyon Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July.
Having a pleasant time at Canyon Lake is painless.

| | Go for a hike on the Gee Point Trail. Baldy Creek flows through this region, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Stagecoach Inn. The warmest time of the year at Canyon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Canyon Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.

fun, Hemple Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Squire Creek. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough
time. Steven's Pass Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest; there are brilliant spots to look at along the Finney Peak Trail.
