     Why not camp at Pioneer Trails Campground if you're here at Lake Campbell, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt.Baker is a good location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Auld Holland Inn is a glorious choice, and at Lake Campbell you can see Bowman Hill. Throughout the summertime highs here at Lake Campbell get into the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically  
   in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Campbell are in the 30's. While you're here at Lake Campbell you can play some golf at Similk Beach Golf Course.
Anaco Beach is a beach right next door to Lake Campbell that you can explore, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pass Lake is just a very short distance away. The yearly rain here at Lake Campbell is about average; December is the wettest month with most rain while July
 
               is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at San Juan Motel Anacortes, and you can run the rapids of Whatcom Creek.
Looking for something close to Lake Campbell? Whistle Lake is nearby, and Lake Campbell is a spot with many visitors from Oak Harbor. Be careful coming to Lake Campbell, you might not ever want to go home again. If you're looking for a beach in the vicinity of Lake Campbell, we recommend North Beach, and a visit to Hoypus Point is always a glorious idea. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Anacortes RV Park, and what would a location like Lake Campbell be without interesting nearby features like Rodger Bluff.

Doe Bay Resort & Retreat.... the best kept secret in the San Juan Islands of Washington. I went Hiking on Mt Constitution and Kayaking and came home to killer organic gourmet food at the Doe Bay Cafe. The soaking tubs and sauna are brand new and look out over one of the prettiest bays in the world. They are clothing optional and peaceful. They have a huge organic garden that provides vegetables and greens for the cafe. I love the cabins but the yurts are still my favorite. Warning- there are more and more weddings which book the whole place so call or check their website...
