Go to Camp Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Lake a wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout November; the driest of the months is July. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Camp Lake has to offer, you can camp at Owl Creek Campground, and do stop by Lake Byrne, it's a lovely lake. Camp Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.

| | Cascade Range. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Sloan Creek; you can run the rapids of Downey Creek. There's so much to do here at Camp Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sloan Creek Campground is a nice site for that, and good hiking is available along the Fire Creek Way. Summertime highs at Camp Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with | |

winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Camp Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Black Mountain from Camp Lake is striking; there's brilliant hiking along the Glacier Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful
coming to Camp Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Aspen Suites at The Icicle Village Resort is a wonderful site to get some rest, and Fourteenmile Creek is near Camp Lake and is always a diversion to take a look
at.
You clearly must adore the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Camp Lake without first going for a hike along the Kennedy Ridge Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Stephens Pass is a great site to do that.
