If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Camp Lake. Camp Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Cle Elum Traveler's Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two; camping at Camp Lake is delightful fun, Dickey Creek Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Creek is a brilliant local stream; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Miller Peak Trail. All

| | the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows the most; July is when it's the driest. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. can get bored here at Camp Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Teanaway River - North Fork, and while you're here you can take a hike along the County Line Trail. Now, you may feel
that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you're going to Camp Lake from Ellensburg, you won't be the only one. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Teanaway River, and
a fine nearby hotel is Wind Blew Inn Motel. During the summertime months at Camp Lake temperatures are usually in the 60's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Camp Lake.
