That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Annette Lake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Snoqualmie is a very popular ski area nearby, and of course Big Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at.       Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Alpental has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you're here, you could also go to stunning Little Calligan Lake. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. The Pratt Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. Do visit Lake Hancock near Calligan                  Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Snoqualmie River - North Fork. High temperatures at Calligan Lake through the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Calligan Lake tend to be in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Calligan Lake a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
