All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. A delightful close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Burlington, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Silver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; the scenery at Glenhaven Lakes Dam is beautiful. From a rain point of view Cain Lake is a rather typical
place; throughout November this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Skookum Creek; perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Reed Lake is just a very short distance away. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt.Baker since you're here. There's so much to do here at Cain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildwood Resort is a

               good location for that.
